Eric, worried about having to face his future, decides that the small town life is the life for him. Alan too wonders about his future after he wins an award at work.

Topanga, in order to prove to Cory that she loves him no matter what he looks like, cuts off some of her hair. Despite trying to prove her point, Topanga immediately regrets cutting her hair.

Alan quits his job at the supermarket after not getting a raise that he asked for. Upon hearing this, the Matthews become worry about their lives will change not that Alan is unemployed.

Shawn's mother returns to town, much to the amazement of both Shawn and Chet. Cory decides it's up to him to reunite the Hunters. Meanwhile, Cory also organizes a memorial for Brenda, the cafeteria lady who recently past.

Eric becomes the center of Corinna's, a strange girl who writes songs, anger and becomes the subject of a harsh song that becomes famous. Meanwhile, after babysitting together, Topanga and Cory worry that their different takes on parenting will affect their future together.

Chet becomes a janitor at Shawn’s school, embarrassing Shawn. Meanwhile, Alan and Eric interview potential help for the new store and come across some strange applicants.

Eric is a contestant on MTV’s dating game Singled Out. Meanwhile, Cory thinks that he’ll ’disappear’ after he gets his tonsils out.

Cory discovers that Shawn has had Claire, a beautiful girl, sleep over at his house and begins to assume things about their relationship. However, once Cory finds out the real reason Claire is saying with Shawn, he lets Claire stay at his house, until Amy and Alan also learn the truth.

Cory tries to attend both Topanga's sweet sixteen party and Frankie's father's wrestling match without letting Frankie or Topanga down. Cory soon finds out that doing both is harder than planned.

Mr. Feeny assigns his class to learn about how class division in Rwanda has become the center of conflict in the country. For their assignment, Cory and Shawn decide to have their families come together for Thanksgiving dinner at the Hunter’s trailer. However, the dinner doesn’t go over well for the Matthew’s or the other residents of the trailer park. Meanwhile, Herman, Frankie’s little brother, asks permission to ’court’ Morgan.

Jennifer, Shawn's girlfriend, breaks up with Shawn and will only get back together with him on one condition: he no longer spends time with Cory. Cory and Shawn have to see each other secretly and enlist Topanga to help them work out their situation. Meanwhile, Eric tries to get rich quick by selling 30 dollar tickets to his one-man show entitled Look at Me, Look at Me.

Guest stars Buddy Hackett and Soupy Sales play businessman who hire Cory and Shawn to run certain errands for them. Cory quits after seeing how shady the businessmen are and has to convince Shawn before he gets too far in.

Shawn and Cory turn Mr. Feeny's house into a bed and breakfast while he's out of town. Meanwhile, Mr. Feeny and Eric wind up at the same hotel and end up better friends after the experience.

Alan has to face the fact that Cory is getting older when Cory spends his 16th birthday with Shawn and Topanga instead of him.

When a war between the girls and the boys begins to heat up, Cory and Shawn write a story for the newspaper inspired by the book Black Like Me. Dressed in drag, Shawn attends school and is quickly asked out. On their date, Shawn sees himself through new eyes. Meanwhile, Eric helps Lonnie, a girl from the mountains, how to interact with city men.

Cory begins to see that Topanga and Shawn are acting like their more than friends and ends up catching them kissing. Cory discovers the reason behind the kiss and must face the changes that that reason will bring to his relationship with Topanga.

Cory tries to regain a normal life after becoming very lovesick for Topanga now that she's living in Pittsburgh. But when Topanga runs away to see him, he has to convince both his parents and Topanga's aunt that the love he has for Topanga is worth fighting for.

Eric hides the fact that his girlfriend has a son from his parents even though he feels that he's mature enough to handle the responsibility needed to be a dad. Meanwhile, Cory studies for the SATs.

Shawn, Cory, and Topanga are contestants on a quiz show. The producers think that the trio could be a television hit with their humor and street smarts that the other nerdy contestants don't have. But they are forced to evaluate the price of fame when the questions are dumbed down to make it easier on Cory and Shawn.

Eric blames his mother for getting fired from his father's store and instead of going to college, Eric becomes a security guard and moves out. But as Cory and Topanga continue to study for the SATs, Mr. Feeny tries to help Eric do the same in order to help him get into college.

Shawn begins to fall into the wrong group, which happens to be a cult, and Mr. Turner has to help him out before he gets in over his head.

Cory gets into trouble when a college girl hits on him during a visit to a college with Shawn and Eric.
